“It is now just over two years since you completed the restoration of my teeth after the implants that Prof Skakib installed.
I was giving everything its daily floss and clean this morning and was thinking what a piece of good fortune I had in finding Prof Skakib initially who introduced me to you.
I first contacted Prof Skakib’s p/a after a Google search suggested he may be able to help as I was having a difficult time with xerostomia in July 2023.
During the course of his advice and treatment ( which was helping a lot) Prof Skakib suggested that I replaced my dentures and had 5 implants and 10 teeth mouthed on them . he felt that whilst xerostomia wasn’t curable changing to a permanent fitted bridge on implants would help.
The rest is kind of history and in July 2024 ( 8th July ) you fitted the final version of my teeth and to be honest apart from my morning cleaning and flossing routine I have kind of forgotten they aren’t real.
Amazingly whilst there is no cure for xerostomia I can tell you for sure that having these new teeth on implants and not having a large plastic denture have made a tremendous difference .
I would say to anyone considering the same solution for xerostomia, just do it , the benefits of permanent fitted teeth taking up about 80 % less space in ones mouth really helps” .
