Medical Insurance Procedure
Please provide the membership number and preauthorisation number from your insurer before attending your appointment. We can then arrange for your insurance company to be invoiced directly.
If this is not possible, we will inform you and discuss alternative options.
A visit to your GP may be necessary to complete part of the claim form or to obtain a referral letter, should your insurer require one. However, you are still free to organise your own medical appointments as you see fit.
For overseas visitors, ongoing medical cover or certain types of travel insurance may provide coverage. It is important to check the level of cover with your insurer before starting treatment.
Insurers We Work With
Harley Street Maxillofacial Clinic regularly work with leading medical companies shown below, which cover much of the UK sector:
- Allianz
- AXA PPP
- Bupa
- Cigna
- Vitality
- WPA
If you hold insurance with another provider, please ask our team if this will be okay, as we may be able to arrange payment.
Self-funded Patients
Health insurance is not required for prompt access to care. If you need a diagnosis or treatment without delay, our private healthcare services are available as and when you need them using self pay.
If you are self funding, we take payment on booking to secure your appointment. You can make your payment by bank transfer, credit, or debit card.
Equal Treatment for All
While administrative details are important, the main purpose of insurance is to ensure you receive the treatment you need and move past any medical issues.
At Harley Street Maxillofacial Clinic, we always provide treatment based on your individual needs and the most appropriate course of action for you. Your chosen method of payment does not affect the level of support you receive.
